How to Set Up Your Swirl - Initial Use

You have just made another step in your journey to live a healthy life.
Here’s a quick overview of how to set up your MAYU Swirl.

OPEN UP
Open up the box and arrange all the parts on a clean, flat surface
(Note: The impeller is sitting in top of the stainless steel pour spout.)
THE CABLE & BASE
First, connect the USB power adapter to a suitable outlet and the USB-C cable to the back of the porcelain base. Make sure that both are well attached and the battery’s indicator light is orange, consistently. When the light switches from orange to white - charging is complete. Fully charged, the base can work up to 6 hours disconnected to the electricity.
For primary use, we recommend to continuously and fully charge it. You can leave the base plugged in to electricity as long as you like – it won't harm the battery.
Please note, if the battery light goes off while you're charging it, it is an indication that there is no charge, so please check that all connections are set correctly.
Please mind that on the base there is a little curvy area with a shape suitable for you finger. This is the ON and OFF switch for the base.
THE CARAFE
Wash the carafe with warm water and dish soap, then rinse well.
Please note that you received the newest model of the Carafe. The biggest difference you will notice is that the impeller is no longer attached to the bottom. Instead, it will rest freely at the bottom of the Carafe. When the Carafe is packaged, the impeller is inside the pour spout. If this is the case, just push the impeller out through the top of the pour spout, and slide it down into the Carafe.
Fill the carafe up to the 1.5 liter mark with drinking water. Then place the carafe in the center of the porcelain base.
If the water hasn’t started to swirl - lightly touch the ceramic button on the base and make sure you have the impeller inside the bottom of the glass carafe. Keep the water swirling for at least 7 minutes without the lid, before drinking it.
